  3. Payment of the application fee can be made online or offline:

Offline Mode:

  1. Select the offline mode of payment.

a) Written Test:

  • The written test will be held at eleven venues: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
  • ISRO reserves the right to cancel or change the written test venue and reassign candidates to a different test center.
  • Call letters for the written test will be sent only to the registered email IDs of candidates.

b) Pattern of the Question Paper for the Written Test:

  • The question paper is divided into two parts: Part 'A' and Part 'B'.
  • It is a single objective type paper.
  • The total duration of the test is 120 minutes.
  • Part 'A' is the Area/Discipline specific part, consisting of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each with a +1 and 1/3 marking scheme.

  • The shortlisting will be done in a ratio of 1:5.
  • The minimum aggregate of 10 candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
  • For reserved vacancies, additional candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5, irrespective of the reserved candidates shortlisted under the UR category.

d) Qualifying Criteria:

The qualifying criteria for the selection process will be determined by ISRO.

e) Weightage in Panel Generation:

The final panel will be generated based on a weightage of 50% for the written test marks and 50% for the interview marks.

  • Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix.

  • The minimum basic pay for the position is ₹56,100/ per month.
